These photographs document the work in progress and the exterior of the building as it is today.
Unfortunately photography inside the Baltic is not permitted so there are no pictures of any exhibitions, with one exception - in July and August 1999 the hollowed out shell of the Baltic was used by the artist Anish Kapoor to create his artwork "Taratantara"
